Women's Rights Group UltraViolet Says Ezekiel Elliott Committed Sexual Assault Exposing a Woman

They're calling for the Cowboys' running back to be suspended.

Within minutes of TMZ Sports posting footage of Ezekiel Elliott pulling a woman's top down and exposing her breast during a St. Patrick's Day party, people said the Dallas Cowboys' star running back had committed "sexual assault."

Well, the clamor caught the attention of women's rights group UltraViolet and its co-founder Shaunna Thomas

After watching the video from the weekend celebration, Thomas told TMZ Sports that Elliott's act was "sexual assault, period" and she called on the NFL to suspend the 21-year-old rusher.

"The reality is that what happened in that video was sexual assault, period," Thomas said, adding that there's no wiggle room for any other interpretation of the footage.

She added: "The evidence for it is he pulled down her shirt, exposed her breast and she slapped him away. She clearly didn't want him to do that. Ezekiel Elliott needs to be suspended."

Thomas continued, stating that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has yet another opportunity to show that the league doesn't condone these type of acts by dropping the hammer on the running back.

A rep for Elliott told the celebrity website that the act was all in good fun and that the woman whose top was pulled down wasn't upset.

Still, it will be interesting to see if the Cowboys and/or the NFL takes action against Elliott for his act.

Do you agree with Thomas and many fans that this is an act of "sexual assault" and that Elliott should be suspended, if not arrested for it?
