How a Rapper Beat a Tipsy Allen Iverson in a Game of HORSE

A.I. didn't appreciate the MC putting him on blast on 106 & Park, either.

Allen Iverson is likely to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.

If and when he is, one rapper could always boast that he had the major keys necessary to beat "The Answer" in basketball... and that would be none other than Nelly.

In a recent interview with Complex, A.I. explained how the MC baited him into a game of H.O.R.S.E. back in the day after the legendary baller had been drinking.

"Me and Nelly played H.O.R.S.E. He’s a friend of mine. I remember one night we went to Jermaine Dupri’s studio and I had been drinking before I got there," Iverson said. "We went into the gym and he beat my a**. Then he went on 106 and Park and bragged about it. So the next time we played, I made sure that I came prepared. I hadn’t drunk anything and beat his a**. And during that game he was saying, 'You need to get him a couple drinks.' I told him, 'Nah. Not today. You ain’t going to brag on this one.'"

Hey, Nelly, beating a future Hall of Famer one-on-one is saying something.

You'll always have that to your name... even if it was only H.O.R.S.E. and A.I. was tipsy.

Still, something to tell the kids about.
