Nipsey Hussle And Suspected Shooter Reportedly Had An Exchange Before His Tragic Death

According to Nipsey's business partner, who witnessed the shooting just minutes prior.

As details surrounding the murder of Nipsey Hussle and the suspected gunman, arrestee Eric Holder, continue to unfold, there’s one eyewitness who has shared his recollection of the tragic shooting that claimed the life of the beloved hip-hop altruist: his business partner, Herman Douglas.

In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Douglas explained the moments leading up to Nipsey’s deah. He recollects an exchange between himself, the Victory Lap rapper and Holder, which he says quickly turned into a fateful act of green-eyed monstrosity that claimed the life of Nipsey Tha Great.

  • ‘Me and Nipsey was talking and the dude that shot him, he came and shook our hands,’ Douglas remembers…

He adds that Holder introduced himself as a rapper before going inside of the burger spot they were hanging in front of. Douglas recalls leaving Nipsey for only a few moments to take his own food back inside when “dude came back around the building bustin’ [shooting].”

According to Douglas, he was also well aware that Holder was the shooting culprit before his arrest. “It’s no mystery, we know who he is,” he continues in the video.

  •  Douglas also spoke to Douglas’ motive (or lack thereof) behind the shooting…

“It’s all hate and envy—that’s all it was,” he says. There was no true motive nor beef that existed prior to it either, he adds, but simply a maliciously cold and cowardly act of envy. “It was jealousy, hate and envy,” he concluded. “Nipsey didn’t deserve to die like that.”
