Martin Lawrence Joins The Cast Of ‘Demascus’
The sci-fi series will also include Janet Hubert.
Martin Lawrence is officially joining the cast of Demascus.
The sci-fi comedy series was created by Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm, who was a writer for 2020’s Boomerang, and follows a Black man named Demascus, played by Okieriete Onaodowan, who is navigating a world of alternate realities. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lawrence will be in three of the series’ six episodes and plays Uncle Forty, a sick relative of Damascus who is struggling with his role as patriarch of the family.
The show also includes Janet Hubert.
Demascus will air on AMC. No premiere date has been set.
