Herschel Walker Won’t Share Solutions To Major Issues He Says He Has
Georgia Republican U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker recently noted he has “a solution” to “things that really matter,” but did not specify.
During a rally in Augusta on Tuesday (Nov. 1), Walker, who is running against incumbent Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock, said, "Why are they not talking about things that really matter? Because they don't have a solution for those things. And I say I do have a solution, but I'm not going to tell them because you tell them [and] they'll think they came up with it."
His comments caused people to laugh and applause in the crowd. "They are good at marketing, they are good at lying to you," he added.
Released on Friday, the latest model from polling site FiveThirtyEight, shows Walker having a 59 percent chance of winning the seat versus 41 percent for Warnock. That said, the most recent poll conducted by Survey USA has Warnock ahead by 6 percent.
