Truck Driver Who Reportedly Caused Tracy Morgan Accident Might Get a Huge Break

It's not a done deal yet, though.

Kevin Roper, the Walmart truck driver who is allegedly responsible for the vehicle crash that nearly killed comedian Tracy Morgan, may have just dodged serious jail time as he has struck a plea deal.

According to TMZ, Roper allegedly pleaded guilty on Tuesday to vehicular homicide and four counts of aggravated assault. These charges all stemmed from the 2014 crash that almost claimed the life of Morgan and killed his friend James McNair.

As a part of the plea deal, Roper is required to enter a three-year intervention program, which consists of 300 hours of community service. Luckily for him, he if stays on the straight and narrow following that, all charges will be dropped.

Reports say Roper had been awake for more than 24 hours when he crashed into the comedian's limo bus on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Though the deal has been presented, a judge is yet to sign off on it.
