Chris Rock Is Getting Slammed On Twitter For Making Drug-Related Joke About Whitney Houston
Chris Rock's polarizing comedy style recently put him in hot water with angry fans who called him out for making a "tasteless" joke about Whitney Houston's reported drug addiction.
The outrage was sparked after the comic posted a meme on Sunday which featured Houston wearing sunglasses and looking unimpressed during a sit-down interview — a clip that has been a classic part of meme culture even while she was alive.
What upset many, however, was the caption Rock used to support the meme: "Hurry up I got crack to smoke," he wrote.

Almost immediately after the post went public, the late singer's ex-husband, Bobby Brown, took to Instagram, himself, to react to it, writing, "During this time of women empowerment you chose to use your time to try and humiliate our QUEEN!!!"

The vast majority of social media seems to share Brown's sentiment as many took to Twitter and Instagram in hoards to call Rock out for the tasteless and cheap joke.
Rock has yet to address the backlash.
