Beyonce Is Set To Make History With ‘LEMONADE’

Queen Bey continues to slay.

We refer to Beyoncé as "Queen Bey." And if you’ve ever lost track as to why that is, we’re here to remind you. Her recently released sixth solo studio album LEMONADE has already created a swell of controversy, which, after further analysis, was manufactured to boost sales. Well, those numbers are in, and they’re looking good for the Houston songstress.

According to Billboard, LEMONADE is slated to top their charts and if it does it’ll make history. The magazine notes that if Bey’s latest album does reach no. 1, she’ll become the first artist to both hit No. 1 and debut at No. 1 with her first six solo studio albums.

Currently, the projections have LEMONADE moving 550,000-plus equivalent album units for the week ending April 28 with 450,000 or more of those being traditional digital and physical album sales.

Beyonce kicked off her Formation Tour on Wednesday (April 27) in Miami. Tonight, the festivities continue in Tampa as hopefully she’ll pull out as many stops as she did the first night. is your No. 1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
