Azealia Banks Has A Problem With Cardi B's 'Black Woman's Expression'

'Don't get me wrong. I'm very entertained by Cardi B...'

Fresh on the heels of Azealia Banks discrediting Cardi B for her lyrical camaraderie with Nicki Minaj, new footage of Azealia critiquing the Bronx-born breakout star has been unearthed.

While the Harlemite recently took aim at Cardi following her unexpected collab with the Head Barb, it appears as though Azealia has several more rounds left in the chamber. In an undated video, Azealia is seen sharing her thoughts on the "Bodak Yellow" rapper's trajectory into the limelight. "Don't get me wrong. I'm very entertained by Cardi B and I really like 'Bodak Yellow'," Azealia notes as a disclaimer. "But you are not that girl."

"It's just the truth," she continues. "You know, this female rap thing is like a lineage. It's a real fire that burns in a soul. [Cardi] don't have that fire. I'm very happy for [Cardi's] success and I love [Cardi's] come-up.

"But just the fire of this Black woman's expression ... you don't have it, Cardi," she adds. In the past, the self-proclaimed Ice Princess has accused Cardi of identifying as Black only upon cultural convenience.

The "212" rapper even threw jabs at Charlamagne Tha God for supporting the Afro-Latina while “letting White men at Atlantic buy [him] into hating their own [Black] women.” Azealia stirred the pot deeper by naming her alleged “Bodak Yellow” ghostwriter a few days later.
