Kanye West to President Obama: I Don't Care Who You Are

Yeezy rants against commander in chief.

Kanye West could care less about President Obama's opinion of him.

The commander in chief has commented on West's behavior in the past, which 'Ye addressed —among other topics — with Philly's Hot 107.9 radio station over the weekend.

Obama was just following a trend, the "New Slaves" MC said. "That was like kinda my position in culture and he [the president] also used that too," Yeezy explained of the president calling him a "jacka--" more than once. "That's how the world felt, but I don't care if somebody's the president or not. I care about thoughts and how you helping people, and what you bring to the world. Like, my music brings joy to people. What I create brings joy to people."

"Me, I'm not about me," he continued, launching into a vague idea pitch, before circling back to the president, and throwing Kim Kardashian in the mix. "I think that he should mention my baby mama name 'cuz you know we both from Chicago," West announced, apparently unaware the president has spoken about Kardashian, in the realm of unrealistic spending habits.

Nonetheless, West vowed to not speak on the issue ever again. "I'm not gon' mention him no more, I'm passed that, that's out my thoughts, that's lower on my priority of thinking at this point."

Also in the interview, the new dad talked about his "Bound 2" video, being inspired by his own father, and how he sees himself at the age of 36. "I'm in a place where I feel like I'm three years old," said West. is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
