GloRilla Surprises Her Father With A New Car At His Retirement Party
GloRilla surprised her father for his retirement, doing it in style.
The “Glorious” rapper threw her father a retirement party on Monday (November 3) for her father, Edwin C. Woods Sr., as he celebrates 30 years of dedicating his time to the United States Postal Service.
In the video, the 26-year-old took the mic and shared how proud she was of her father and his accomplishments.
"We celebrating my dad—his retirement," she said in a video clip.
She continued, speaking about her dad, acknowledging how the “post office appreciates all your hard work,” and she, herself, appreciates all of his hard work too.
She then ushered her father outside for the big reveal, accompanied by a white Jaguar, to which a large crowd surrounded them and cheered.
During her interview with Tamron Hall a year ago, her father sent in a special video, sharing how proud he was of her with all her success and how she had “risen from humble beginnings to going to the White House.” He continued, wishing her “many more days of success.”
The touching moment led to the “Wanna Be” rapper crying before expressing how much she loves her dad and how he’s one of the closest people to her heart.
