Guess Who Got Kicked Out of the Bill Cosby Trial?
As Bill Cosby's highly publicized sexual assault trial continues, celebrity attorney Gloria Allred might be watching from outside the courtroom from here on out after she was kicked out of the courtroom on Wednesday.
Allred, who has represented several of the women to come forward accusing Cosby of assault, was booted after her cellphone rang in court, where phones are prohibited.
“I was happy to leave,” Allred said. “It was off and it rang. I have no idea how it happened. This young man was just trying to help me figure it out. I don’t know who it was. I don’t give out my number and I never answer it anyway, you know that.”
At this time, it is not clear if Allred will be allowed back into the courtroom. Thankfully for complainant Andrea Constand, Allred has never represented her, so whether or not the celebrity attorney is allowed back into the courtroom will not have a great impact on Constand's case.
