Two Shot During T.I., Jeezy, Yo Gotti Performance

Gunfire in Charlotte, N.C.; injuries non-life-threatening.

Two people were shot at a Charlotte, N.C., nightclub where T.I., Jeezy and Yo Gotti were performing on Saturday night, local police have confirmed.

"Two people injured with gunshot wounds. One person drove themselves to the hospital and one person was transported by ambulance. Both are non-life-threatening injuries," said police, who could not yet specify who the victims were. One victim was female.
"It was packed," said Selena Alexander of Elite Insiders to USA Today. "Two distinct gunshots rang out," said Alexander. "The artists were immediately rushed out."

"Arent we too old for this ish?" wrote an Instagram user who had posted raw video of the shootout. "#CIAA day party that was to feature #TI #YoGotti and #Jeezyappearance/performance shot up!"

The incident occurred during the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) weekend, the largest intercollegiate basketball tournament for HBCUs. It's unclear whether the party was an officially sanctioned CIAA event. Diddy was scheduled to appear at the same club later in the evening.
No arrests have been made as yet.
