Kodak Black And Reginae Carter Burst Into A War Of Words Over This Lil Wayne Comment

"This n***a whole album sound like my daddy ol s**t..."

After being bestowed a Lil Wayne feature in 2017, fans suspected that Florida rapper Kodak Black publicly burned his bridge with the New Orleans hip-hop icon in just one sentence at Miami’s famous LIV nightclub.

The 21-year-old spontaneously blurted out the contemptible remark over the mic while partying it up with clubgoers. He first asks the DJs to cut the music and asks “Where Lil Wayne?” before breaking out with the disturbing statement. Most of his dialogue is inaudible due to some censoring of the video and the microphone itself, but his most scorching remark is clear. “You should’ve died when you was a baby,” he continued.

  • From the video, Kodak appears to be smiling and laughing while making the remark as well

  • But a smile was nowhere near the face of Weezy’s daughter Reginae Carter in her address to Kodak’s statement

Taking to Instagram, she shared an adorable throwback flick of baby Nae Nae with her dad, complete with a statement directed at Kodak and anyone else disrespecting his legacy. “You new lil rappers need to start giving props and respect to the Goat,” she said. “My father don’t bother nobody. He won’t even react to what was said.” She went on with a warning to leave her father alone, pointing out how bold Kodak was for making the comment on the one night Weezy didn’t show up to the nightclub. “Don’t tell me to stay out of it because that’s my father and you mfs don’t give him his credit and it’s a shame,” she said. “This n**ga whole album sound like my daddy old sh**. Gtfoh.”

  • But in a twist of events, Kodak clapped right back, explaining that the remark wasn’t about her father to begin with

Kodak rejects the entire speculation and not only cites that he does have a whole song with Weezy (“Codeine Dreaming”), but sends shots at Nae Nae while he’s at it, who he calls Wayne’s “little bald-headed daughter.” Apparently, the scathing comment from his LIV nightclub appearance was intended for someone else, he claims, and doesn’t appreciate everyone trying to “make a scene.” Not to mention, he added, he’s about 180 pounds, and thus, wouldn’t touch Wayne since he’s “getting old.”

  • But as it appears from Toya Wright, Reginae’s mother, he’s already on the Carters bad side…

    Yikes.
