BET Talks: Meagan Good on Faith, Friendship, and Freedom
Meagan Good, star of "Harlem," recently opened up about her life and career in a heartfelt conversation. She discussed her connection to her character Camille, her personal growth, and the friendships and faith that keep her grounded.
Good shared how "Harlem" reflects her own journey. "Camille is one of my favorite characters. The show represents Black women in ways I didn’t see growing up—it’s a love letter to women," she said. Playing Camille helped her confront difficult questions about herself and embrace God’s unconditional love.
Good also spoke about her relationship with Jonathan Majors, praising his work ethic and support. "He’s helped me grow personally and professionally," she added.
As "Harlem’s" third season finale approaches, Good is hopeful for more. "We need a Harlem movie—let’s start a petition!"
