Black Ink Crew Chicago star Don Brumfield and his wife Ashley have gone through a slew of relationship woes throughout their stint on reality tv. From creeping with his co-star Charmaine to being caught up in a paternity scandal and being accused of hooking up with a stripper during his bachelor party, Don appeared to have finally gotten his act together after he and Ashley tied the knot. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.
The doting father-of-three took to social media begging for his wife’s forgiveness in light of some recent indiscretions. “I wanna start this post by saying I love you Ashley Brumfield and I apologize for hurting you and disappointing you once again. We have been working on Don and Ashley for 6 years. Our lives have created two amazing boys and I wouldn’t trade it for the world,” he wrote.
Dishing on how he plans to move forward Don added, “Our lives have been lived in the public eye these past 3 years and I have publicly embarrassed my wife, my family, and my team who all believed in me.I can’t ask my wife to forgive me once again. All I can do is work on myself to be a better husband to you Ashley and allow you to heal.”
He would go on to issue a plea for fans criticizing his wife for sticking by his side for so long. “Please relax on going so hard on Ashley. She was never stupid for loving me and trying to forgive, trust, and forgive me,” he added
Ashley, who recently welcomed the couple’s second son in September, took to Instagram updating fans on her relationship status, “For the record @bishop_don and I are officially separated in our marriage and coparenting our children.”
The estranged couple tied the knot on season two of Black Ink Crew Chicago and share two sons, Don Jr. and Ashdon, as well as Don’s daughter from a previous relationship, Kinleigh.
