‘SNL’: Jonathan Majors And Saweetie To Make Special Appearances This November
Jonathan Majors will make his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live as the variety series on NBC returns this month. Saweetie is also scheduled to appear as a musical guest for another episode.
Entertainment Weekly reports that The Harder They Fall star will host the series on Saturday (Nov. 13) and with country music star Taylor Swift as the evening’s musical guest. Majors is best known for his roles in films like The Last Black Man in San Francisco and the HBO series Lovecraft Country.
He is also set to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the villain Kang the Conqueror after making his debut in the Disney Plus series Loki.
For the Nov. 20 episode, Shang-Chi and Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu will host the show and will be joined by Saweetie who will serve as the musical guest for the night for the first time ahead of her album Pretty Bitch Music, which comes out in 2022.
Saweetie was also announced as the host of the 2021 MTV European Awards and the rapper will take to the stage to perform hit songs from her upcoming album.
