Joe Odom: Lamar Cut Me Off for Dissing Kardashians

Plus, the troubled NBA player's DUI arraignment delayed.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian's usually public life continues to be shrouded in mystery. The estranged couple's fourth wedding anniversary on Friday came and went without either divorce papers or a surprise reconciliation, both of which were anticipated by gossip rags all last week.
One thing's clear, Lamar's father Joe Odom is not in the couple's life. The elder Odom pulled his son out of Twitter hibernation last week when he bashed the Kardashians, insinuating that Lamar would have been better off if he had never married Khloe. Lamar referred to his father as "absent" and ranted that "he is disrespecting the ONLY family that has ever loved me without expecting anything in return."
While some doubt the authenticity of the tweets, the NBA player's actions over the weekend seem to verify his sentiments. According to Joe Odom's statements to TMZ, Lamar cut his father off after paying his rent for several years. The elder Odom claims he can't afford the $2,900 a month rent and will be out on the street unless his son changes his mind.
For now, Lamar has plenty of his own problems without worrying about his old man. The basketball player, reportedly battling a serious drug problem, was arrested in Los Angeles last month for driving too slow and appearing intoxicated. Odom refused all breath and blood alcohol testing and, as a result, had his license revoked for a year. The former Los Angeles Clipper's arraignment, scheduled for Friday, was postponed indefinitely for unknown reasons.
Odom will have to face the music eventually, both with his legal troubles and his marriage.
