Mere days after former Cosby Show star Geoffrey Owens was unfairly ridiculed for making an honest living as a Trader Joe's crew member, Hollywood heavyweight Tyler Perry made him an offer that is likely to put a smile on his face.
Taking to Twitter, Perry, who produces and directs a slew of OWN's most profitable programs, personally offered Owens a role on one of his hit television shows.
"#GeoffreyOwens I'm about to start shooting OWN's number one drama next week! Come join us!!! I have so much respect for people who hustle between gigs. The measure of a true artist," he tweeted.
This news comes shortly after Owens stressed during a recent Good Morning America interview that despite his reasonings for working at the popular grocery store, no one should feel any pity for him or his humble life.
"No one should feel sorry for me," he told Robin Roberts. "I've had a great life. I've had a great career. I've had a career that most actors would die for. So no one has to feel sorry for me. I'm doing fine!"
Owens also revealed during the interview that he quit his job at Trader Joe's due to the attention it garnered him, making it practically impossible for him to remain working there.
Kudos to Tyler for looking out for his fellow brother in Hollywood.
