Heartwarming Video Of Black CEO Gifting Her Daughter’s Teacher A Car Has Everyone In Tears

Courtney Adeleye made sure the educator didn’t have to take the bus to work anymore.

When the CEO of a Black hair and beauty company learned her daughter’s teacher took multiple buses just to get to and from work every day, she knew she had to take action.

Courtney Adeleye, the CEO and founder of The Mane Choice hair care products, said she knew she had to do something when her husband told her that a favorite teacher at her child’s school didn’t have her own form of transportation.

Adeleye and her husband, who is a medical doctor, then went to an Alabama Ford dealership to get the teacher a brand new car.

When the couple surprised the teacher, their 11-year-old daughter filmed the emotional moment.

  • “Are you serious?!” the teacher tearfully exclaimed. “You’re really serious? Oh my gosh!”

As the teacher broke down into tears, she hugged Adeleye and her husband.

“I cannot believe this! Y'all just don't know,” she cried.

  • The teacher said she's excited she'll no longer have to sit in the cold or wait on someone to come pick her up

This act of kindness comes natural to Adeleye, who is known as the beauty entrepreneur and CEO who started the Pay My Bill program. As part of the program, she offers to pay the bill of one of her followers.

According to a July Forbes profile on Adeleye, she's paid a bill for more than 150 of her social media followers.

  • Many applauded Adeleye for her unmatched generosity

  • Some even felt this video highlights why teachers need to be paid more
