2022 NAACP Image Awards: 5 Most Memorable Hits From This Year’s Presenter Tinashé
Award-winning singer-songwriter Tianshé burst into the music scene with her debut mixtape, In Case We Die, in 2012. The multi-talented star continued working, growing her presence, and two years later released her debut album Aquarius in 2014. The project, which features the track “2 On” featuring Schoolboy Q, was an instant hit among listeners. The single went certified platinum and went number one on the US rhythmic radio, the second-most played song of 2014 to achieve the milestone.
Since then, the 28-year-old has contributed to several hit songs and has even had several voice credits in films and appearances on televisions shows, including Two and a Half Men and Rent: Live.
This year, the singer and trained dancer will be appearing in the 53rd Annual NAACP Image Awards hosted by award-winning actor Anthony Anderson. “2 On” ft. SchoolBoy Q
The first record released off her debut album Aquarius peaked at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100. It features a sample from the 2005 single "We Be Burnin'" by Grammy Award-winning artist Sean Paul.
“Company”
Tinashé leaned on all her talents of singing and hardcore dancing to release “Company,” the first single off her second studio album Nightride.
Tinashe, MAKJ - “Save Room For Us”
Tinashe spotlights her professionally obtained dance moves in this electro house-inspired collaborative effort with DJ and record producer MAKJ. The single is featured on Tinashe’s independently released project Songs For You.

“All Hands on Deck”
Another single off her debut studio album Aquarius,this club-friendly record was co-written by many artists, including Tinashé, Bebe Rexha, Stargate, and Cashmere Cat.
KAYTRANADA “The Worst In Me” ft. Tinashé
Although this is not a Tinashé original, her angelic vocals are a perfect addition to Kaytranada’s dance record “The Worst In Me” off his 2019 album Bubba.
