Chad Ochocinco Saves Money by Doing His Fiancée Sharelle Rosado's Hair and Nails

From slinging footballs to now slinging hair and nails, the former NFL star is proud to save a buck however he can.

Chad Ochocinco is putting the fellas on game on how to save some bread.

We know this brotha can do wonders with a football, but the athlete is also dishing on his new hustle as a nail tech and hairstylist. He says moonlighting as an all-in-one stylist is a practical way to save money as he and fiancée Sharelle Rosado prepare to walk down the aisle.

In the past, Ochocinco –whose real name is Chad Johnson– has been candid about his frugal habits, from flying Spirit Airlines to wearing fake bling. During an interview on "Club Shay Shay" in 2023, he also revealed that he lived at the stadium during a time when he played football. "I stayed at the stadium the first two years because I ain't want to spend no money."

For him, tackling the beauty industry is the perfect way to reduce spending.

"Y'all wan to save some money? Learn how to do your girl's nails. I don't care what nobody say. I don't care how much money you got," he said while doing a new set on the "Selling Tampa" star's nails. "In this economy, having one less expense ain't a bad thang."

He also said they prefer Gel X over acrylic nails and press-on nails.

"It's 12 months in a year," he said, adding, "Think about how much money you're saving in a year if you learn to do Gel X."

He is also proud to be Rosado's hairstylist. "If you really want to get exquisite with it, learn to do her hair like I did," he continued.

"Show them your hair baby," he told her as the camera panned to her buss down. While sitting by her man, the real estate broker modeled her do with a smile and some giggles.
