Steve Harvey Says Sleep Deprivation Will Make You Rich And Working Class Twitter Isn't Having It
Steve Harvey is getting a resounding “huh?” from folks on Twitter after he boldly declared that those who aspire to be wealthy need to cut their sleeping time in order to make bank.
A clip from his daytime talk show Steve recently began circulating showing him aggressively preaching against people oversleeping to his audience.
"Rich people don't sleep eight hours a day!" he said while forcefully clapping his hands. "That's a third of your life. It ain't but 24 hours in a day. You cannot be sleep eight hours a day. You can't live in L.A. and wake up at 8 o' clock in the morning. It's 11 o 'clock on the east coast. The stock market been open two hours. They already making decisions about your life and your a*s was sleep."
In case his message didn't register clearly to those who were listening, Harvey went on to quote the Bible.
"The Bible says he who loves to sleep and the folding of hands, poverty will set upon you like a thief in the night," he added.
