It’s been 18 years since the Grammy award-winning Digable Planets released the critically acclaimed Reachin’ (A Refutation of Time and Space). Their last album Blowout Comb came out in 1994.

But the 2010's seem to be the year of collaborations and comebacks. Boyz II Men released a new album Twenty and although a reunion seems unlikely for A Tribe Called Quest, interest in the group has been rejuvenated due to their new documentary Beats Rhymes and Life.

Reportedly also looking to return to the hip hop scene is Digable Planets. According to AllHipHop.com, the group’s members Lady Mecca, Butterfly and Cee Knowledge are planning to make a comeback next year.

As to when fans can expect an album remains to be known.
