Shedeur Sanders Says $500K Rolls-Royce Report ‘Another Lie’
Shedeur Sanders is setting the record straight.
Contrary to online chatter, the NFL rookie says he did not treat himself to a $500,000 custom olive green Rolls-Royce—despite what a viral YouTube video suggested.
The speculation kicked off after Sanders’ half-brother, Deion Sanders Jr., posted footage of the luxury car being delivered to their family’s Texas estate.
Since Sanders previously drove a similar black-and-gold wrapped Rolls-Royce while attending the University of Colorado, social media users assumed the flashy new vehicle was his.
However, Sanders quickly took to X to shut it down. “Another lie,” he posted. “I’m focused on my team not a car purchase!”
The 23-year-old quarterback was recently selected in the fifth round of the NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Though some predicted he’d go higher, Sanders has stayed locked in. During his draft livestream, Sanders announced he’s shelving his rap career—for now—to fully commit to football.
Last year, he released his debut single “Perfect Timing,” but said the game is now his sole focus. So while social media may be buzzing with headlines about half-a-million-dollar cars, Sanders is keeping his eyes on the field.
