Hot Girl Winter: Megan Thee Stallion to Bring Exclusive Olympic Coverage to YouTube

The hip-hop icon extends her brand to global sports bringing her millions of followers with her.

The 2026 Winter Olympics are officially getting a dose of "Hot Girl" energy. Three-time Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion has joined the NBC Milan Cortina Creator Collective, partnering with YouTube to provide fans with an exclusive look at the Games in Italy.

The collaboration allows the superstar to merge her massive cultural influence with the world of elite athletics. She told The Athletic that she views music and culture as inseparable from sports and hopes to continue bringing those two audiences together. With more than 7.3 million subscribers and 630 million views on YouTube over the last year, her reach provides a significant platform for the Winter Games.

This isn't the first time the rapper has connected with the Olympic movement. She previously starred in a high-profile promotional campaign for the 2024 Paris Games, but her role in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo is her most immersive yet. This time, she will have direct access to athletes and venues, creating content that will live exclusively on her YouTube channel.

The move follows a growing trend of hip-hop stars lending their voices to Olympic coverage. Snoop Dogg, who became a breakout star of the Paris coverage, is also on the ground in Italy serving as an NBC correspondent and ambassador.

Even with her global fame, she is prepared for the possibility that some athletes might not know who she is, and that she’s excited to build mutual respect with the competitors and potentially turn them into "Hotties" before the closing ceremony. Beyond the sports, fans often follow the rapper for her lifestyle content, including her fitness routines and her relationship with Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson.

As the Games continue, her followers can expect a mix of high-stakes competition and the authentic, behind-the-scenes personality that has made her a household name.
