Black Teen Beaten by Mob Hurling Racial Slurs at California Concert

17-year-old Elijah Green’s family calls for hate crime charges after vicious assault caught on video.

A disturbing video has surfaced showing 17-year-old Elijah Green being assaulted by a group of individuals at a music concert in Palmdale, California, on May 24, according to reports. The footage captures Green on the ground, surrounded by a mob who take turns punching, kicking, and directing racial slurs at him, including "Get that N-word" and "Beat that N-word up.”

Despite the severity of the attack, no arrests have been made, and no police report has been filed, leaving the circumstances surrounding the incident unclear.

Civil rights activist Najee Ali, acting as a spokesperson for Green's family, has called on the community to unite against racism. "This is LA vs Hate," Ali stated, according to reports. "We're calling for a unified front of community organizations and members to condemn this hate crime." The family is urging Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman to file hate crime charges against the attackers, noting that some individuals allegedly boasted about the assault on social media.
