A man named Ricky Hand was sentenced to serve 40 years in prison for a string of armed robberies in Springfield, Ohio. But before he was taken out of the courtroom, he left a truly disgusting parting gift.

"Did you just give me 40 years, sir?" Hand asked the judge after the sentencing. "You just gave me 40 years. Well guess what?" Hand reached into an arm sling that he was wearing and pulled out several pill bottles that Hand had filled with a mixture of feces and urine.

While he tried to throw the concoction at the judge, courtroom officials were able to restrain him.
Clark Count Sheriff Gene Kelly told WDTN that Hand has committed at least 30 robberies, and when he was out on parole he committed another crime, which lead to his arrest and sentencing. 

The local sheriff's office is now investigating the incident. "This man should've been more thoroughly searched prior to entering the courtroom. Our police dictates that there's a search prior to and there's a search after he leaves and that was very apparently not done," said sheriff Kelly.

Hand could now face additional felony charges for his attempted attack on the judge.
