Breast Cancer Survivor Who Says She Was Called 'One-Boob Girl' Joins Racial Discrimination Lawsuit Against Fox News

Monica Douglas was shamed for not resembling the "Aryan race."

As if things could not get any worse for Fox News, a third Black employee joined the racial discrimination lawsuit on Tuesday. According to the woman, the news network ignored complaints about a former employ because she “knew too much” in regards to the alleged sexual misconduct of ex-chairman Roger Ailes.

Monica Douglas, Fox News’ manager for credit collectors, said former comptroller Judy Slater not only spread racist beliefs in the office, but she also made fun of her for being a breast cancer survivor, reported the New York Daily News

Slater demonstrated “an unwillingness to even be near Black people,” according to court filings. Additionally, she ridiculed Douglas for not resembling the “Aryan race.”

The suit also alleged Slater taunted Douglas for her battle against breast cancer. According to Douglas, Slater called her "cancer girl," "boob girl" and "the one-boobed girl."

Douglas alleged she was once told, "Your boobs look like they are different sizes — oh, that's right, you only have one boob." Slater allegedly complained that Douglas’s cancer treatment was "increasing everyone's health care premiums.”

Last month, Fox terminated Slater, although they claimed to have fired her "within two weeks" of complaints regarding her behavior.

Douglas joined the original lawsuit filed by two women last week. In the first suit, the women claimed Slater repeatedly subjected them to racist comments and derogatory insults.

Fox News offered a statement about the amended lawsuit.

The network said they take "complaints of this nature very seriously."

"[Fox] took prompt and effective remedial action in terminating Judy Slater… There is no place for conduct like this at Fox News, which is why Ms. Slater was fired," Fox said in a statement.

This lawsuit comes in addition to the resurfacing of sexual harassment allegations against Bill O'Reilly, as well as an investigation into the alleged misconduct of Roger Ailes.
