Russell Wilson Spends How Much, On What? What Does His Wife Think About It?
Russell Wilson spends a million dollars a year on his body in hopes of being in shape for the NFL up until he is 45 years old.
In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Wilson, alongside his wife Ciara, revealed he is committed to being the Seattle Seahawks' quarterback, even if it costs him a fortune, Variety reported.
The 33-year-old stated he wants to retain a healthy physique for professional football for another 12 years, making his retirement age about 45.
"It's a process. It's a lifestyle. I think that when you're trying to play as long as I'm trying to play — I'm trying to play to 45, 12 more years," the quarterback said.
“Yeah, for me, the mentality, the focus level, everything you have to do has to be surrounded around that,” Wilson continued. “It’s been an amazing journey for me so far.”
While he is on a 10-day diet where he ate no dairy, no gluten, and no red meat, Ciara, supportive, albeit sometimes annoyed by Wilson's $1 million lifestyle, would eat "Philly cheesesteaks in my face.”
“We are both competitive by nature so I think we kind of use that to push each other.” That means that game night in their household is particularly fierce. “Pickleball’s an issue,” Wilson revealed. “We argue over it.” He added, “The problem is she starts dancing after she beats me,” Ciara stated.
“I kind of like to rub it in a little. He’s good at everything, so when I beat him it’s a big victory so I have got to celebrate. And I hold on to it. I’m like, ‘Remember that? Can’t talk that much junk,’” she added.
