Eve Reveals How She Thinks DMX Would Have Reacted To Her Pregnancy
Eve’s pregnancy was the topic of conversation on the latest episode of the Tamron Hall show, as well as her late friend DMX.
On Tuesday (Dec. 7), Eve joined Hall to express her thoughts on how the legendary rapper would have reacted to her baby news.
“If he saw me now, because he used to call me ‘Evening,' so in his voice he would be like ‘Evening! Evening!’ And you know the first thing he would probably do is pray over my belly. He would take my hands or he would hold my belly and pray for me, 100 percent, that would have been the first thing,” the Queens star said.
Adding, “And then he would hug me and say how happy he is for me, because, oh my God, X was just literally — you know we got to see so much of him in his angst and pain and in his music and why he was so raw and so real. But he really was one the most hilarious people, the most supportive light as well. Light, energy, and loving! So loving. If he loved you, you knew it.”
Eve and her husband Maximillion Cooper announced back in October they were expecting their first child together.
She has been married to the British millionaire since 2014, after a four-year courtship that began in 2010. The 43-year-old is also the "bonus" mom to his four children including Lotus, 19, Jagger, 17, Cash, 15 and Mini, 13, all from a previous marriage.
Eve is currently taking a hiatus from her ABC show Queens where Remy Ma, will appear on the show with a recurring role.
