So, It Looks Like Justin Bieber Wants To Be A Beauty Blogger

Except he's not very good at it.

Wait, since when did Justin Bieber become a beauty blogger? Well, apparently since this weekend.

Over the weekend, the 23-year-old shared his acne removal "secrets" via his IG story. ICMYI: The Biebs is pretty open about his ongoing battle with acne issues — and is not ashamed to let you know it.

The Canadian bad boy's skincare routine from start to finish includes:

Step 1: Take some Christine Kim Facial Cleanser and apply to your Clarisonic Brush.

Step 2: Take your Clarisonic brush “and apply all over the dome (face).”

Step 3: Rinse face with water.

Step 4: Apply EltaMD Sunscreen. Justin uses the UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 specifically for acne-prone skin.

Do this all by wearing Rob Kardashian's missing Versace robe

After his step-by-step process, the Biebs expresses his frustrations, screaming, “f**k!” because his face still remains oily. Looks like this routine is not that successful after all.

Here at BET Style, we actually like to test celebs' beauty and grooming routines, but Justin spared us the time and disappointment. Thanks, bro!

More good news: we have some alternatives for you (and Justin) that possibly could work — and you can get them over the counter for less than $50 bucks!

What our new favorite social media beauty blogger Justin didn’t mention as the first step before trying his products is that you need to know your skin type before launching into a full-blow skincare routine.

In Justin's case, he's dealing with a mix of blackheads, whiteheads, scaring, and oily skin. Although self-diagnonis is temptation, we'd suggest getting a skincare consultation via a derm or even at a reputable skincare counter at a department story.

Ask the expert you’re consulting with to share the difference between the types of common acne-fighting ingredients — and how they will affect your complexion.

According to AskMen.com, here's what to expect from the key ingredients below:

  • Alcohol: Dries out the skin and gets rid of bacteria.

  • Benzoyl peroxide: Reduces acne-causing bacteria and dries the skin out.

  • Salicylic acid: Increases moisture in the skin and dissolves bacteria, dirt and other particles.

Here's what we'd suggest to Justin to test out for his next beauty vlog, errr social media rant.

Hopefully, he'll see some positive results with this edit of picks geared specifically for gentleman in the 16-25 range with similar issues. Happy testing!
