With some significant time passing since Tamar Braxton's split from her husband of nine years, Vincent Herbert, the singer-turned-reality-star is ready to debut her new man.

Upon seeing him, Braxton's fans noticed a clear difference in his appearance when compared to Herbert, and in response to several of their shady assessments, the "Love & War" singer came to her ex's defense.

After teasing his presence for some time on social media, Braxton gave her followers a somewhat clearer glimpse of her new African bae through an Instagram video showcasing him climbing out of a swimming pool.

She captioned the video, which she posted to her Instagram, "Said i wasn't gone tell nobody but I...?"

After apparently noticing his lean body, Braxton's fans took to the comments section to point out that he was the clear aesthetic opposite of Herbert, with one commenter writing, "When you go from fAt to FIT.. the experience is sooo different and electrifying."

Instead of agreeing with the fan's sentiment, Braxton urged that he be respectful to her ex and the father of her son, responding, "Don't do that boo! We just didn't work out. Don't shame that man like that please."
