A white South Carolina bank executive clearly learned nothing from the demise of Megyn Kelly and still decided to prance around a Halloween party in blackface for his MAGA hat-wearing Kanye costume.

According to The Root, Bryan Lenertz, of Anderson Brothers Bank, recently attended a Halloween party, where he and his wife appeared as Kim and Kanye. Lenertz is an executive of the financial institution, which boasts over $740 million in assets. Earlier this month, he was praised for being a trailblazer in his field.

However, an anonymous tip about the banker’s costume revealed he also has an interest in being a trailblazer of racist imagery. According to The Root’s sources, Lenertz and his wife’s costume was a hit among his friends.

“I wonder if he’s [Lenertz] ever denied a loan to a person of color,” the source told The Root.

Already, people are slamming the Anderson Brothers bank for employing someone who acts with such insensitivity.
