Juelz Santana Talks Collaborating With Lloyd Banks and Other NY Artists

Lloyd Banks and Juelz Santana have cracked open a door that's been shut for quite some time.

With Lloyd's "Beamer Benz & Bentley" single becoming a Tri-State favorite, the Queens-Harlem connection is a sign that NY rappers can co-exist with each other.

Speaking with BET.com before hitting the 106 & Park stage to perform the cut with Banks, Santana is everything but hesitant when it comes to breaking bread with other NYC artists.

It’s a beautiful thing," Juelz told BET.com. "At the end of the day, I’m a real street ni**a. I don’t go around bragging and boasting. I don’t have to beef with ni**as. No one stole from me and nobody put their hands on me so it's nothing left to do but for us to get money, you know what I’m saying?

And while jealousy isn't in his blood, the Harlem prince not only encourages the union between NY rappers, he thrives on it. "A ni**a being mad at a ni**a is just some jealous sh*t," Juelz explained. "I’m a true Harlem ni**a man, I like to see dudes shine, I like to see dudes doing good. It makes it easier for me.

Juelz is currently in the studio wrapping up his third solo project, "Born To Lose, Built To Win" which is scheduled for a release later this year via Def Jam Records.
