[WATCH] Spice Girls' "Wannabe" Gets Feminist Makeover in Viral Video

"I really, really, really wanna zigazig ha."

20 years after the original release of the the Spice Girls' smash “Wannabe,” the Global Goals Campaign enlisted their vocals for their #WhatIReallyReallyWant movement. International performers dance and lip sync to the song throughout the video to promote feminism and shed light on issues like gender equality, child marriage and equal pay. They also tackle issues, such as education disparities, complete with throwback dance moves for all your nostalgic vibes.

Mel C., better known as Sporty Spice, showed her support for the video by saying, “Flattered and honoured that our crazy song is being used so beautifully@theglobalgoals #WhatIReallyReallyWant,” via TwitterVictoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, also showed her support via Twitter with this heartfelt sentiment: “20 years on - Girl Power being used to empower a new generation. So proud of @TheGlobalGoals #WhatIReallyReallyWant.”
