These Celebrities Bought Out Screenings To ‘Queen & Slim’
Queen & Slim opened this week, and there’s been no shortage of support from celebrities who are supporting the film.
Snoop Dogg, Kelly Rowland, Big Sean, Chaka Zulu and more are among the big names who have decided to buy-out screenings of the film.
The movie starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith has been the talk of social media since it hit theaters on Wednesday (November 27).

Via Twitter, Gay announced she was holding a screening, however the tweet has since been deleted.
"I bought a screening of Queen & Slim at the Baldwin Hills Cinemark on 11/27 at 7 :30. in LA. You're invited."

Written by Lena Waithe and directed by Melina Matsoukas, Queen & Slim is based on an original idea from bestselling author James Frey, which depicts a first date gone wrong after a couple defends themselves against a police officer. The pair end up going on the run after and the rest had fans on the edge of their seats.
