More marriage news from the Scandal set. Two months after Kerry Washington revealed her secret wedding to NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha, her co-star Columbus Short has announced he and his wife are divorcing.
The hunky actor's estranged wife Tuere Short filed the court papers for their split on September 11, according to RadarOnline.com. Tuere is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their daughter, Ayala, 19 months. The petition states the couple was married in 2005, and lists the date of separation as September 9, 2013. No reason was given for the split.
Short is best-known for playing Harrison Wright on the hit show, created by Shonda Rhimes. He also starred in and executive produced dance drama Stomp the Yard and its sequel Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming. His other credits include Cadillac Records, Death at a Funeral and You Got Served.
