Elijah Blake is getting ready to release his Shadows & Diamonds album and he’s getting his fans excited with a monumental remix.

“I Just Wanna…” is the album’s lead single and he decided to collaborate with DeJ Loaf for the remix. The Detroit MC adds her flare to the track, rapping a fun verse about getting tipsy with her man-of-the-moment.

"I wanted to keep it young yet still cultured. I felt DeJ was the perfect look because she got a fresh sound and vibe about her," he told FADER. "And to be honest, I missed the era where multiple female rappers were killing it and were getting on hip hop tracks and adding a woman's perspective to a male record. She definitely went in! To the point where I was like, 'Wow, this chick is here to stay.'"

The album is set to release on June 23 via No I.D.’s ARTium Records/Def Jam. Listen to the track over at FADER.
