Other Great Brandy Songs That Didn't Make The Soul Train Awards Tribute

She's got hits for days.

R&B's jill-of-all-tunes Brandy was celebrated tonight (Nov. 27) at the 2016 Soul Train Awards with the Lady of Soul crown, and there isn't anyone more deserving.

The "I Wanna Be Down" singer has been destined for a spot on R&B and soul's A-list since her 1994 debut of the self-titled, Brandy. Breaking right into the stellar performance with the softly-vocalized "Almost Doesn't Count," the soul singer-songwriter embodied a premium throwback R&B playlist.

Following up with with classics like "What About Us" and "Full Moon," Brandy even pulled out rap's long-time-no-see vet, Mase for a rendition of "Top of the World."

Despite the glorious run down of her best hits, we couldn't forget about these classics that didn't make it to the lineup:

  1. Best Friend (1995)

  2. Missing You (1996)

  3. Sittin' Up In My Room (1995)

  5. Angel In Disguise (1998)

  6. Never Say Never (1998)

  7. Missing You (1996)
