Shilo Sanders is giving the world a peek into how Karrueche Tran entered the Sanders family chat.

The Colorado football player shared the moment during a vlog posted on Christmas Eve, where he talked about spending the holidays with his father, Deion Sanders, and Tran. What could have been awkward turned into a running joke, which isn’t unusual in their dynamic.

Shilo said his dad didn’t ease into the introduction at all. “I remember when I first met Karrueche,” he said. “Dad said, ‘Say hello to your stepmom!’” The introduction set the tone from there and made it clear there was no tension, just typical Sanders family banter.

The vlog also doubled as a soft launch for future content. Shilo told viewers he wants to interview Deion and Tran together and asked fans to send in questions. One topic he already had queued up involved his father’s toes. “I want to ask her, ‘What did you initially think about my dad’s toes whenever you first met him and seen them?’” he shared playfully.

Deion previously had two toes amputated in 2021 after complications tied to blood clots, and the family has been open about his ongoing medical journey. Tran first appeared publicly alongside him in July during a vlog documenting his bladder removal surgery. Her presence stood out to fans, especially since the video showed her supporting him during a vulnerable moment.

The Christmas vlog also featured a FaceTime cameo by Shedeur Sanders, Deion’s second-youngest son and current Cleveland Browns quarterback. Shedeur joked around, saying things had gone “downhill” since Tran entered the picture.

Outside of vlogs, the couple has made a few subtle public appearances together, including supporting Shedeur on the sidelines during a Browns vs. Buffalo Bills game. Social media posts, interviews, and small glimpses into special moments have kept everyone guessing, but Shilo’s latest vlog confirms that Tran is very much part of the family.
