A South Carolina woman’s life changed instantly, and her unfiltered joy was caught on camera for all to see.
The regular lottery player, whose name has not been revealed, won $250,000 from a $5 scratch-off ticket purchased at a gas station in the Fort Mill neighborhood.
The store’s security footage shows the woman hugging an employee and jumping for joy as the reality of her jackpot win sank in.
The gas station owner, who sees her daily, told WSOC-TV, “I’m glad it was her,” adding, “I see her every day, and I’m glad to see her finally win something big.”
He continued, “So, she’s been taking it easy with the scratch-offs, but she’s been playing her regular numbers, and hopefully she gets one more,” he said.
