'Abbott Elementary' Fans Celebrate Janine And Gregory’s First Kiss

Quinta Brunson and Tyler James Williams made viewers’ dreams come true.

Social media is celebrating after a long-awaited Abbott Elementary storyline has finally come to fruition – Janine and Gregory kissed!

On the Feb. 22 episode of  Abbott Elementary Janine, played by Quinta Brunson, and Gregory, played by Tyler James Williams, shared a kiss while they were alone at a flower exhibit. Who knows where this romance will go but Twitter is excited, see the smooch below:

One user wrote, “Waited so long for this and writers, set designers, and the actors understood the assignment!!! They didn’t give us some weak ass kiss scene. The setup was immaculate.”

Another added, “Going down in tv history for best first kisses!”

An excited fan tweeted, “The giggling, the heart eyes, him going in for the kiss first then a second one…SEDATE ME.”

Quinta Brunson's Abbott Elementary premiered in February 2021 and was an immediate success. The show follows a group of dedicated Philadelphia public school teachers who try to educate and inspire their students despite the challenges they face both inside and outside of the classroom. Quinta Brunson serves as the creator, writer, and executive producer of the series, which has received critical acclaim and numerous awards for its witty writing and talented cast.
