Fresh on the heels of a break-up with Kylie Jenner, Tyga hasn’t hesitated in opening up about the pair splitting.

“We’re both just focused on our lives, our individual lives right now,” he told TMZ while at LAX. “Sometimes things don’t work out, but I love her.”

As if that’s not a proud display of his maturity, what he said next about his ex-Blac Chynadefinitely is.

“People grow,” the rapper said, when asked about his thoughts on her new engagement and on the news the pair has a baby on the way. “It’s time to evolve. Everybody should have opportunity at love and to live their life.”

While these comments reflect sentiments that are wise beyond his years, Tyga still doesn’t think Rob Kardashian is going to be up for a stepfather-of-the-year award. 

“Don’t go too far,” he said.

Regarding his son with Chyna, Tyga has said in the past that he is primarily concerned with the wellbeing of his son in this situation.
