Vivica A. Fox Says Morris Chestnut Is Her Best On-Screen Kiss

The actress gave Larenz Tate a close second during a conversation with Bevy Smith, while explaining why she keeps romance off set.

As suspected, Morris Chestnut is topping lists for best kiss. Well, according to his former co-star, Vivica A. Fox

During a recent conversation with Bevy Smith on “Radio Andy,” the actress was asked to rank her best on-screen kisses, and she said Chestnut was no. 1. “Chocolate himself,” she said.

Fox also gave Larenz Tate a close second. “Oh my gosh. Larenz was another one I had to forget we was rolling. You know, I was like, ‘Cut. Cut, Vivica.’”

Fox and Chestnut starred together in “Two Can Play That Game,” while Fox and Tate shared the screen in “Why Do Fools Fall in Love.” Fox has previously shared that she keeps work and dating separate. She said she has a “cardinal rule” not to date co-stars.

In the interview with Smith, Fox said, “You know what's that old saying?” prompting Smith to say, “You don't sh*t where you eat.”

“I'm so glad she said it for me. Thank you very much. Thank you very much, but it's a rule of mine,” Fox said. “Because it is lust. You haven't taken the time to get to know a person, and so when you know the honeymoon phase wears off, and then all of a sudden they're over there glaring at each other and sh*t, and you're like, ‘Oh, see I knew it was going to happen.’ You know, then it creates tension on the set, which is unfair to the rest of the production, in my opinion.”

A few years ago, she shared that she is open to love and even “taking applications” for a partner. She has also made it clear that she prefers meeting people the old-fashioned way instead of relying on dating apps. "I need to meet you and sparks happen because I just believe people make up stories, saying who and what they are,” Fox said.

She also made it clear she’s not interested in dating “any rappers!”

Fox has long been tied to some of Hollywood’s most memorable on-screen pairings. She previously won an MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss with Will Smith for “Independence Day,” and her latest juicy admission only added to the ongoing parasocial love affairs many fans have had with Chestnut and Tate over the years.
