Here's Why Mendeecees Wants His Prison Sentence Reduced

The reality star says he has a valid reason.

Incarcerated Love & Hip-Hop star Mendeecees Harris is pleading for his eight-year prison sentence to be reduced and his reasoning is pretty odd given his current situation.

The reality star says he should spend less time behind bars because he never sold drugs, he just pushed them.

According to TMZ, he said the federal prosecutors went extra hard when sentencing him because they made it seem like he was dealing cocaine and heroine.

His exact wording was seen in the docs obtained by TMZ. In them, he said he was just "collecting drugs from one party and handing them to another." He added that he was just a small part of the operation as the feds never even accused him of knowing anything about the drug ring or the prices involved.

So far, he's served one year of his prison sentence.
