Ginuwine went and put a ring on it! TMZ is reporting the R&B legend is engaged to 28-year-old Miami realtor Jannette Escartin.

According to WBLS, the proposal was carefully planned. A couple of weeks ago, overlooking a body of water in Washington, D.C., Ginuwine got down on one knee. According to Escartin, she said yes without hesitation. Their family and friends were involved in keeping the event a secret from the public. The couple says they're happy, they're in love, and they're ready for whatever's next.

Here's the tea: these two have actually been dating for a couple of years now, quietly building something real. That's rare in 2026, when everybody's relationship ends up on the timeline before it's even official. But if you scroll back, there was a breadcrumb — last week Ginuwine hopped in Jannette's Instagram comments and dropped a simple "Mine ❤️.”

At 55, Ginuwine has kept his personal life largely off-limits since his marriage to rapper Solé ended. The two wed in 2003, split in 2015, and have co-parented their blended family ever since.
