Proving once again that he is easily capable of using real world issues to incite a social media frenzy, President Donald Trump has angered an overwhelming population of the social media community after tweeting his decision to ban transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military.

In an attempt to explain this shift in the country's military policy, Trump tweeted that his reasonings boiled down to "medical costs" and "disruption," which he is convinced transgender troops will introduce.

Take a look at the trio of tweets that started it all, below:

  1. Since the tweets made their rounds beginning early this morning, a social media storm almost instantaneously erupted, proving to be the absolute inverse from Barack Obama's administration's lifting of a ban that boasted a similar objective, just last year.
