Dove seriously needs to add some diversity to their advertising team.
Dove is being dragged on social media for a horribly offensive ad that was posted on their Facebook page over their weekend.  The three-second GIF  started with the line "Ready for a Dove Shower?" and showed a looped image of a Black woman taking off her brown t-shirt to reveal a white woman. Ugh. 

Only after social media set the beauty company on fire, Dove released this statement, "This did not represent the diversity of real beauty which is something Dove is passionate about and is core to our beliefs, and it should not have happened. We apologize deeply and sincerely for the offense that it has caused and do not condone any activity or imagery that insults any audience."
