Sad news to report. Mychael Knight, who was a finalist on season three of Project Runway, has passed away. He was 39 years old. 

According to theJasmineBrand.com, the fashion designer passed away on Tuesday. There are no other details at this time. Mychael is being honored on Twitter. See below:

On top of his success with Project Runway, he appeared on BET's Rip the Runway and designed a line of custom tees for Starbucks.
